Custom homes in Stagecoach Ranch
Three to nineteen acre lots off Hamilton Pool Road on the Travis County side of the Dripping Springs line, near Hamilton Pool and Westcave Preserve, with rolling terrain, long views and more lots for sale than almost any custom neighborhood in the area. Bee Cave is twenty-five minutes; the schools are Lake Travis ISD.
Big lots for sale on Hamilton Pool Road, in Lake Travis ISD.
Stagecoach Ranch runs along Stagecoach Ranch Road and Loop off Hamilton Pool Road. Homes went in from the mid-1990s through the early 2020s, all custom, and a good number of unimproved ten to nineteen acre parcels have been listed recently, mostly in the mid to high six figures. A property owners association holds the covenants.
Utilities are well and septic. Because the neighborhood is in Travis County, the schools are Lake Travis ISD rather than Dripping Springs.
Hamilton Pool Preserve and Westcave are minutes away, and the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave is about 25 minutes.
Building in Stagecoach Ranch
The view lots here face west and south over the hills, and we orient the house to them. On ten acres we plan the house, the drive and a shop or a guest house together; our Luke plan puts the view on both floors, and the Mark spreads it across one.
Well and septic get settled first, with rainwater collection designed into the roof given the groundwater situation on this side of the county.

The same process we use everywhere, with what's specific to Stagecoach Ranch handled up front.
We walk the lot first.
Slope, trees, the view corridor, where the driveway can enter, where the utilities come in. We do this before drawing anything so the plan fits the land instead of getting squeezed onto it.
We run the review packet.
Elevations, materials, the site plan, septic where it applies. Where there's an architectural committee we prepare and submit it, and the final contract price waits until it's approved.
